Where Need Meets Compassion
Women in the Peel region face growing barriers when navigating unexpected pregnancies. Demand for PCC support in Peel has tripled in five years, while many clients struggle with costly travel, lack of insurance, and limited supportive alternatives beyond abortion services, a critical gap remains for women seeking compassionate care.
In response, PCC opened the Peel Centre in Brampton in September 2025. In just four months, the centre provided compassionate, in-person care to over 100 women and their families. Located near colleges and transit routes and operating six days a week, the Peel Centre brings essential care closer to home, ensuring women and families in Peel are not alone.
Real Stories. Real Impact. Right Here in Peel!
Sierra was reminded of God’s love and care for her, which gave her hope to continue the pregnancy.
Sierra* was pregnant with her fourth child. Due to her ongoing medical concerns, continued care for her children, and now another child on the way, Sierra felt overwhelmed. She felt like her dreams were being placed on hold. Feeling like there was no other option, she had booked an appointment for an abortion and prayed for God to give her a sign if this wasn’t His will.
The morning of her appointment, she received a pamphlet about the value of human-life delivered to her house. She saw this as a sign from God not to abort. When she came to us, our support worker gently reminded her that God cares about her as well as her children. Sierra was reminded of God’s love and care for her, which gave her hope to continue the pregnancy.
Although there are challenges, Sierra is not alone; we will come alongside to provide her with all the support and prayers we can offer.

“When I first came to PCC, I had a meeting with Paulette, and after discussing everything with her, I was extremely satisfied and relieved after knowing all the resources and information she was explaining. [...] So, we just changed our mind, and we just thought that no we will have that baby.”
